We pay tuition. Why do we need to fundraise?
Annual fundraising is not an add-on, it is part of the budget. As with all private schools, tuition dollars do not cover all the operating expenses of a school. Fundraising is important because it bridges the gap between tuition and our actual operating costs. The gap between tuition and actual cost for one student attending Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is $2,700. Our students are counting on us to keep tuition affordable for families who come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, and to cover things like enhancing our curriculum, keeping technology current, the salary of your child’s favorite teacher, augmenting tuition assistance, and much, much more.
Every single gift to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, regardless of the amount, is greatly appreciated. Ultimately it is the participation of everyone in the OLMC family that is key, including parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and staff, and friends from the community.
This year we Climb for Mount Carmel
We have a mountain-sized goal
Annual fundraisers, our greatest source of unrestricted income, have been cancelled. COVID safety mandates and technology to support distance learning have unexpectedly increased our costs. This gap must be closed if we are to continue our commitment to excellence in education in a diverse learning community. You have an opportunity to help keep our school community SAFE, LEARNING and TOGETHER. In these unprecedented times we need our strong Padre community now more than ever. Will you join the climb to the summit?
Time To Climb: Nov 1 - Dec 31
This fall, we climb to fund our Areas of Greatest Need: COVID Safety Mandates, Tuition Assistance, and Technology & Academic Resources.
Help Us Climb!
This school year we will have several fundraising opportunities for our school community, alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty and friends to help us reach this important goal. Please share, donate, and enthusiastically participate. This year, more than ever, we need our Padre community to unite and show support for our school.
