Mission of OLMC
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is a welcoming and diverse community, rooted in Roman Catholic values, where students pursue academic excellence, grow in social awareness, and develop a passion for living Jesus's message.
OLMC students are expected to live with integrity and love like Jesus, becoming involved in their surrounding world and responding compassionately to those in need.
50% of our credentialed faculty hold advanced degrees. Our faculty includes Resource and Enrichment teachers; instructional aides in grades TK-5, Physical Education, Art, Social & Emotional, and Library for grades TK-8, Music and Spanish instructors for grades Preschool-8, after-school Sports for grades 4-8, and Extended Care for grades Preschool-8.

Our Preschool, TK and Kindergarten classes each have two instructors. In grades 1 through 8, part-time instructional aides and qualified Resource Specialists assist classroom teachers and work one-on one and in small groups with students. The ratio is currently 12 students per instructor.
We are accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We consistently receive a full 6-year accreditation each review period, the longest term awarded.
