Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. From the moment you walk onto our campus, you can feel that OLMC is a community built on relationships, faith, and a genuine commitment to our students.

Having spent my entire life, both personally and professionally, in Catholic education, I know how meaningful a community like this can be in the life of a child. I believe deeply in Catholic education’s ability to shape not only strong students, but good people. At OLMC, we want every child to know that they belong here, that they are valued, and that they are capable of making a difference in the world around them.

What makes OLMC special is more than what happens in our classrooms. It is the way our teachers know their students, the way families support one another, the traditions that connect generations, and the faith that calls us to something greater than ourselves. We are a community committed to academic excellence while recognizing that educating a child means caring for the whole person.

As principal, one of my greatest priorities is building strong relationships with our students, families, faculty, and staff. I believe the best schools are built through partnership, open communication, and a shared commitment to helping every child grow. Our students should be challenged to discover their strengths, encouraged when things are difficult, and given opportunities to become thoughtful, compassionate, and confident young people.

Our theme this year, Known. Loved. Sent., reflects both who we are as a Catholic community and who we hope our students become. It connects naturally to our Student Learning Expectations: Live. Love. Learn. At OLMC, we want every student to know they are seen and valued, to understand that they are deeply loved by God, and to recognize that they are sent into the world with purpose. As they live with integrity, love like Jesus, and learn with purpose, our students grow not only in knowledge, but in faith, character, and their understanding of how they are called to serve others.
