My name is Kim Burch and this is my 3rd year at OLMC.  I teach middle school math as well as 7th and 8th grade science. I love STEM because it helps students understand the world around them and see how math and science connect to everyday life. I enjoy teaching students about future careers and showing them that math and science are valuable tools no matter what path they choose.
My goal is for every student to believe that no one is “bad” at math or science and that everyone is capable of success with the right support and mindset. OLMC truly cares about students as individuals, and I value being part of a small, close-knit community where I can help students discover their strengths and realize what they are capable of.
When I’m not teaching I love spending time with my husband and the three kids. I enjoy playing soccer, listening to podcasts, and doing puzzles.
