Jennifer Britt

Hi, I am Mrs. Britt. I am the 4th grade teacher aide and this is my 10th year at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. My husband and I both grew up in the Chicago area. We have three children ages 17, 19 and 21. I love golfing, skiing, travelling and cheering for Chicago sports teams.

My role is supporting the teacher and the students by providing individualized assistance, helping reinforce the teacher’s lessons, helping with small group work and creating a positive/caring learning environment. I love when students come to me for help with classwork because that means we have created an environment that they feel comfortable in. What I love most about working here is the engagement I have with the students in the classroom and out on the yard. Also, the community as a whole is the best! The students, teachers, staff and families make it a wonderful place to work.
