My journey at Our Lady of Mount Carmel began more than thirty years ago when I was hired by Mrs. Teresa Anthony to be the first grade teacher.  Clearly, this place was something special, for even though I stopped teaching when my first child was born, years later, I was drawn back to Mount Carmel and was rehired by Mrs. Anthony, this time in a junior high position.  Over the past 13 years, I have taught all junior high subjects except for Spanish!  Throughout my time at Mount Carmel, I have tried to give students the tools to think critically, make cross-curricular connections, and recognize how our topics of study relate to our lives today.  I now have the honor of guiding the 8th graders in their paths as young adults.  I treasure the opportunity I have to help our students show the best versions of themselves and grow as leaders.
